Position Title:
Assistant Professor - Biostatistics Research
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the Colorado Biostatistics Consortium (CBC), a unit of the Dept of Biostatistics and Informatics, CSPH-UCD, this position will have 4 major roles: (1) collaborate with The Children's Hospital, the Linda Crnic Institute for Down syndrome, and other medical researchers, particularly in biostatistics methods in genetics research; (2) some original research in statistical methods; (3) teach introductory workshops on statistical methods to residents and biomedical investigators; and (4) provide general consulting in medical data collection adn analysis methodology. This is a "research track" position and is not tenure-eligible.
Position Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Biostatistics or related field, with experience in collaboration in the design and analysis of biomedical research. Preference will be given to applicants who have expertise in statistical methods for analysis of genetic-genomic data.
Salary Range:
85,000-100,000 commensurate with experience
