Position Title:
Assistant Professor
Duties & Responsibilities:
A 9 month tenure track position in statistics at the Assistant Professor level is available at NDSU beginning August 16, 2012. This appointment is approximately 60% teaching, 30% research, and 10% service. The successful candidate is expected to develop a research program in statistics that compliments other research in the department and to supervise both M.S. and Ph.D. students. The teaching load will be 3-4 courses per year.
Position Qualifications:
*Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Biostatistics, or related area by August 15, 2012 *Demonstration of strong research potential and quality teaching *Effective oral and written communication skills
