Position Title:
Postdoctoral Fellowship in Causal Inference and Biostatistics
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a post-doctoral fellow position in causal inference. The successful candidate will work in Dr. Marshall Joffe's research group on NIH-funded projects related to causal inference. The candidate will help develop and implement statistical and computational methods for estimating the effects of time-varying treatments and exposures under novel sets of assumptions and apply those methods to important applied problems.
Position Qualifications:
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field. Programming skills and knowledge of methods for causal inference are required. Familiarity with structural nested models, targeted maximum likelihood, and semiparametric inference, and experience with data analysis are desired but not required.
