JOB DESCRIPTION:  Winship Cancer Institute is seeking a Master’s level Biostatistician to engage in both collaborative and biostatistical research.  Areas of collaboration and research include biostatistics, bioinformatics, clinical trials, molecular biology, epidemiology, cancer control and prevention.  The position requires a Master’s degree in biostatistics, or statistics and practical experience in biomedical study design and analysis.  Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary, and experience with a range of statistical software is required.  Develop and analyze a variety of research data using statistical methods. Assist researchers in developing appropriate study protocols and computer analyses.  Salary and level of the appointment will be commensurate with the experience and credentials of the successful candidate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field.
