Statistical Programmer / Software Developer
The Department of Biostatistics at UTMDACC has an immediate opening for a Statistical Programmer / Software Developer position. The primary responsibility is to develop software for implementing innovative clinical trial designs. Familiarity with statistical programming, numerical analysis, and simulation is required. Proficiency in R/S-PLUS, Bayesian computation methods including WinBUGS, and general programming skills such as C, C++, .NET are preferred. The job also involves writing documentation, tutorials, and case studies. Good oral communication and strong writing skills in English is essential. Experience in biostatistics, clinical trials, and the development of user interface is a plus.
