A postdoctoral fellowship (2 years) is available under the direction of Dr. Dylan Small and Dr. Tom Ten Have at the University of Pennsylvania. The specific research projects are flexible and can be tailored to the interests of the individual, but will fall under the broad purview of causal modeling. Areas of particular interest to Dr. Small and Dr. Ten Have include instrumental variables methods, group randomized trials, treatment non-adherence, applications of causal modeling to mental health and applications of causal modeling to the design and analysis of field studies of and interventions against malaria and other parasitic diseases.

Requirements for the position include: a proven record of self-motivated research and a Ph.D. in biostatistics, statistics or a related field.

Start date and term are negotiable. Health insurance benefits as well as funding for course work and conference are available.
