RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure accruing Research Assistant Professor position in biostatistics. The successful applicant will have a doctoral degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related field. He/she will be expected to teach in the College's rapidly growing MPH program, participate in the PhD program in Biostatistics (expected to start in Fall 2008), contribute to the mission and vision of a rapidly growing Department and College, collaborate with other faculty within the College and Health Sciences Center, and build on strong research traditions of UF while addressing key Public Health issues in the state of Florida and the southeast region. There will also be opportunities to interact with faculty in the Department of Statistics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. This is a full-time, non-tenure accruing position on a 12-month contract.
