The company has a lot of flexibility with the type of person for this newly created position. You can be fairly new to the field of Biostatistics (with 2-3 years of experience) or you might have 10-15 years of experience and ready to manage the entire function.
Location is flexible for the right person; in fact, you will be able to ‘telecommute’ (work from home).

Determine market share and volumetrics for products, procedures and services of interest to clients seeking market data.
Design and implement medical studies, cost-analysis, outcomes-research, assist clients with sponsored clinical trials.
Provide and test metrics for clinical performance and quality assurance programs.
Act as internal-expert for supplying survey and observational research.
Provide mentoring for co-workers.
The
ideal candidate will have a BS/MS Degree in statistics or healthcare
data management and exposure to data processing/analytics in
pharmaceutical, biotech or CRO. You’ll need at least 5-7 years
experience with statistical software packages (preferably SAS) and
experience in the use, management and application of healthcare data
to address clinical, business and marketing issues.
