The Department of Statistics at Oklahoma State University is seeking candidates for a visiting assistant professor position to begin August 2008 for the academic year. Duties include undergraduate and graduate level teaching. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or A.B.D. in Statistics. Deadline for applications is May 16, 2008, or until the position is filled. The Department of Statistics is administratively located within the College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma State University and currently has seven full time faculty and 20 graduate students. The Department offers B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees.

Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater in north-central Oklahoma, approximately 60 miles from both Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The University has about 23,000 students, including 5,000 who are enrolled in the Graduate College.
