BIOSTATISTICIAN
The Biostatistician provides statistical input into laboratory, clinical, and population science research. This position collaborates on experimental design and protocol development, performs statistical analyses, and provides reports of findings. Performs all duties in accordance with NVCI's mission, vision and values of Discovery, Excellence, Collaboration, Compassion, Integrity and Stewardship.
Requires a Master’s or Doctorate’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related field. A minimum of two to four years of active and sustained participation in the oncology therapeutic area. Evidence of outstanding academic accomplishment and high productivity in applied statistical or biostatistical consulting. Must have leadership abilities with excellent communication skills and must possess the ability in program management. Must have strong background in statistical design, development and execution of analysis plans, and statistical computing (SAS, SPlus, or R). Must be flexible in a demanding environment. Ability to prioritize and use excellent judgment. Must be able to coordinate a number of issues while being frequently interrupted.
