POSITION TITLE: Tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor, 9-month position. The Applied Statistics Program at New Mexico State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position beginning in January 2009.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field is required. Interest and experience in teaching applied statistics is desired. A successful candidate will be expected to advise graduate students, provide innovative and excellent instruction and collaborate with other university faculty on a variety of projects with an emphasis on the social sciences (Education and Behavioral Sciences). The Statistics Program offers a M.S. degree in Applied Statistics with an emphasis on training consulting statisticians.
