A
Biostatistics position is available in the Center for Outcomes Research
and Evaluation at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. This research appointment will begin in the Spring of 2008. Candidates
should have completed all requirements for a doctorate in Biostatistics
or Statistics by the beginning of this appointment
Postdoctoral
training, work experience and productivity in research, as well as
excellent oral and written communication skills would be preferred for
all candidates.
There
is a strong potential for methodologic research in Biostatistics and
for collaborative research in the biomedical sciences. The new
Biostatistician will be expected to become
involved in collaborative research at the Center and may also have the
opportunity to teach Biostatistics and advise students.
