We now have a Full-time opening for a statistician at our Jacksonville, Florida, location.

The Biostatistics Unit at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville currently includes two PhD statisticians, a Master's level statistician (statistician II), and a statistical programmer analyst, and we are looking to add another member to our team. The Statistician II functions as a statistical consultant/project manager by applying statistical, computer and scientific expertise to the design, implementation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of a wide variety of clinical and basic science research. Chosen candidate will work cooperatively with lead statisticians, statistical programmer analysts, physicians, research scientists, study coordinators and other project members. Functions as the primary (lead) statistician on some studies.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics. Three years of experience in a similar consulting role. Experience in carrying out most phases of statistical analysis, interpretation and report-writing. Excellent communication skills.
