Job Description:

The Clinical Statistics section is seeking a statistical research associate to support clinical research studies, primarily with the Program in Infectious Diseases.  The SRA is supported by senior statistical and programming staff, but will work independently with clinical researchers in all aspects of clinical studies.  Responsibilities may include: merging and manipulation of data from a variety of sources, study design, power and sample size calculations, statistical analysis of prospective and retrospective clinical studies, and reporting of results


Qualifications:

MS in Statistics or Biostatistics and three or more years of experience in a research setting are required. Experience with at least one major statistical package (i.e., SAS, STATA, S-Plus, R) and demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential and required.  To be successful in this position, the SRA must be able to work independently and with a diverse group of people.
