Opportunities exist for full-time postdoctoral Research Associate appointments effective
immediately. Associates will work on individual and collaborative research in Bayesian
analysis with Professor Mike West and colleagues. Research areas include multivariate
modelling and computation with large data sets, large-scale mixture modelling, graphical
models, multivariate time series models and related aspects of multivariate analysis for
complex,  large-scale problems. Suitable candidates will have a recent PhD in statistics,
strong Bayesian modelling and computational skills, demonstrated academic writing and
public speaking abilities, and an interest in applications and collaborations in systems
biology and genomics.

Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled. Appointment will be as Research
Associate in the Department of Statistical Science at Duke University for a one-year
postdoctoral term, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
