Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology
The Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University invites applications for two MS biostatistician positions. The positions include responsibilities in statistical consulting, administrative role of running consulting unit, and assistance in teaching.
The mission of the division is to support and encourage clinical/laboratory research, population-based health behavior research, and research in the field of computational biomedicine. Statisticians are expected to provide assistance with design/analysis of research studies (clinical trials, group-randomized trials, etiologic and genomic studies), assist PhD statisticians with carrying out statistical methodologic research, and develop/participate in teaching specialized courses.
Applicants are required to have a Master’s degree in Biostatistics; excellent programming, organization, and communication skills are a must; biostatistical consulting experience is a plus.
