Statistics/Data Management Job in New York City
 
 
"The Department of Molecular Imaging and Neuropathology at the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia University in New York City seeks someone to do database management and statistical analysis.  This individual will work in a data management and statistics group and will create, maintain, and document data tables, assemble data sets for analysis, and perform statistical analyses under the supervision of Ph.D. level statisticians.  The individual will supervise one or more data administrators and work closely with psychologists, psychiatrists, and neuroscientists.  Solid academic training in statistics at least the bachelor’s degree level is required.  Training at the master's degree level is preferred.  Knowledge of MS Access and at least one of S-Plus/R or SAS is required.  Database training and familiarity with Visual Basic is a plus.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.  Send CV and contact information for at least three academic and/or professional references to:  Steve Ellis, Unit 42, NYSPI, 1051 Riverside Dr., New York, NY 10032; spe4@columbia.edu.
