Assistant or Associate Faculty Position

The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at
Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is seeking to hire a
Quantitative Professional at the Assistant or Associate faculty level to play
an integral, collaborative role in the continued success of several ongoing
and overlapping divisional research initiatives. The candidate will advise and collaborate with 6-10 NIH grant-funded faculty
researchers who are conducting psychological research in a large medical center
and would be involved as a critical team member in the inception, planning,
design, proposal production, and dissemination phases of NIH funded research.
The research conducted includes clinical, developmental, and prevention studies.
The candidate will be integrated into the research faculty as a true
collaborator at every stage of research. Ample opportunity will be afforded
for multidisciplinary research and authorship in resulting publications. The successful candidate will have considerable expertise in several of the
following areas: longitudinal methods/analyses, survival and hazard analyses,
analysis of clustered data, categorical data analysis, multivariate modeling
including structural equation modeling, test design and psychometric
evaluation, and power calculations for research proposals.
A working knowledge and some experience with clinical trials will be a
strength (e.g., cross-over designs). A background in psychology or
