Open Position – Field Sales Representative 

Primary functions will include, but not limited to:

* Develop, evaluate and qualify instrument sales leads as well as develop comprehensive plans to convert qualified leads into actual sales prospects.

* Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the assigned market segment as it applies to Aspex’s products and services.

* Manage existing customer base by maintaining regular, ongoing contact with key individuals, site visits, assisting with problem solving as necessary.

* Be alert for business development opportunities, identifying related areas or market segments where particle analysis responds to an industry need.

Field Sales Representatives must be self-reliant, detail-oriented individuals who are able to maintain a professional and ethical manner in establishing relationships with prospective customers, preserving relationships with current customers and preparing and presenting sales proposals as necessary. In addition possess the ability to bring relevant new product releases and or competitive technology updates from the field back to our headquarters office and effectively generate inter-departmental communication.

The ideal candidates are required to have:

* Self-motivation and possess an enthusiastic attitude;

* Professionalism, strong work ethics and deep desire to sell and succeed;

* Possess the ability to comprehend & articulate key selling features as well as install, ‘trouble-shoot’, operate and demonstrate analytical instrumentation.

The following qualifications are essential to be eligible for this position:

* Sound verbal and written communications as well as active listening skills for selling ‘face to face’, via telephone and or email targeted leads;

* Strong organizational skills for planning and managing time effectively;

* Ability to meet sales goals and related objectives on a monthly basis;

* Ability to travel ~75 nights a calendar year, primarily domestically, occasional weekend travel;

* Demonstrated success and experience in a prior sales related position, preferably in the field of technology products or services, must be team oriented;

* Bachelor's degree or possibly relevant job related experience.
