Currently, we have a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual
to provide part-time, temporary statistical support to Byetta Data
Mining Projects under the close supervision of a senior-level
statistician.

Specifically, you will:

* Assist senior statisticians in performing routine ad-hoc analyses
using statistical software SAS * Set up standard processes to examine
data pattern and relationship * Generate descriptive statistics and
various plots, and perform correlation/regression analysis * Provide
input on statistical model adequacy checking and diagnostic testing *
Provide statistical interpretations for model fitting


This position requires:

* Current enrollment in a graduate program in statistics, biostatistics
or related fields * Completion of course work in statistics and a
comprehensive knowledge of basic statistical models (especially linear
models) * Working knowledge of the statistical software SAS to manage
and analyze data (especially the SAS Base, SAS Graph, PROC GLM, PROC
REG, and PROC MIXED) * Solid knowledge of relational databases
