The Albert Einstein College of Medicine currently has openings for two faculty positions in the Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Epidemiology and Population Health (DEPH). Applicants at all levels of professional rank will be considered. Einstein is a leading biomedical institution with a strong commitment to excellence in research. The DEPH is well recognized for its multi-disciplinary programs in epidemiologic, prevention, and health services research and is currently undergoing considerable expansion of its faculty base.

The successful candidate will be a faculty member in the Division of Biostatistics and will collaborate with biomedical researchers at Einstein and at Montefiore Medical Center on the design and analysis of clinical and translational studies, with opportunities for involvement in clinical trials, health services research, and studies of disease prevention and substance abuse treatment. Additionally, the successful candidate will have opportunities to develop an independent program of methodologic research and teach biostatistics courses for medical and graduate students. The position will provide opportunities for diverse research experiences in a highly collegial environment with potential for growth.

Applicants should have a doctorate in biostatistics or statistics, experience in the analysis of clinical and epidemiologic studies, excellent verbal and written communication skills, relevant research and teaching experience, a record of peer-reviewed publications, and a strong interest in methodologic research.
