The Harvard School of Public Health and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute invite applications for a joint post-doctoral research fellow position. The research fellow will work on the development and application of statistical methods for high dimensional data, with emphasis on signal and image analysis. Potential methodological areas are modern multivariate statistics, large scale multiple testing, and functional and manifold-valued data. Potential areas of application are cancer imaging, diffusion tensor imaging and mass spectrometry / gel electrophoresis.

A Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or a related quantitative field is required. Additional qualifications are programming experience in Matlab and R, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
