Director of Statistical Consulting
The University of Arizona seeks to fill a full-time position at the
research associate professor or research professor level to serve as
Director of Statistical Consulting. The successful candidate will
lead, manage, and direct the University's new Statistical Consulting
Office; will provide statistical consulting and collaborative research
services to the campus' academic and research faculty and students;
will supervise and oversee the activities of graduate students assigned
to the Statistical Consulting Office as part of their graduate
assistantships; and will instruct and direct M.S. and Ph.D. student
research in Statistics. Candidates whose research and experience
overlap with existing areas of strength at UA will be given
preferential consideration. The University desires an individual
who is able to work with diverse students and colleagues, and who will
play a leadership role in developing and growing an active consulting
and collaborative statistics program across campus. Review of

position is filled. The position will begin July 2007.
