VirtualBox and Windows 7 on Ubuntu 10.04

This document assumes you have just installed Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) with all of the Statistics department improvements as described here, and now you want virtual Windows.

This script will install a recommended version of VirtualBox. There are no changes necessary to the BIOS settings on a Dell Optiplex 780 to run Windows 7 Pro.

Media containing Microsoft software is subject to detailed UF policy about who UF says is allowed to touch it. If you are in the UF community, then you are probably site licensed to use the software, but you are probably not allowed to install it yourself.
