NSF/CBMS Regional Conference on Generalized Linear Mixed Models and Related Topics

The Department of Statistics at the University of Florida will host an NSF-CBMS Regional Research Conference, June 8-12, 1999. The five day conference will feature 10 lectures by Professor Charles E. McCulloch on Generalized Linear Mixed Models and Related Topics. Emphasis will be placed on discussion of the lectures with a view towards generating new research in the area. The conference will also include a small number of talks by special invited speakers and a poster session open to all participants. Hotel expenses and some travel support is available for approximately 25-40 participants. Interested faculty and graduate students especially from regional universities are encouraged to attend.
