Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor positions
Department of Biostatistics, Vanderbilt University Medical Center

Company Information: The Department of Biostatistics, founded in 2003, is currently home to 33 faculty, 21 staff biostatisticians, 15 IT staff, and 35 graduate students. It continues to expand rapidly, especially to meet the challenges of the booming data science era. Department members participate in methodological research, as well as collaborative efforts ranging from basic science, to translational and clinical research, to big data questions across a variety of domains. In particular in the big data space, the BioVU resource, which houses more than a quarter million unique biospecimen along with de-identified clinical annotation data, is an increasingly rich source of genomic and phenomic data, available to Vanderbilt faculty for interrogation of questions of interest.

Position Title: Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor positions

Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of Biostatistics is seeking outstanding methodological and collaborative researchers with a keen interest in educating and mentoring students in our MS and PhD programs. New PhDs and postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to apply.

Position Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree in biostatistics, statistics, or relevant quantitative fields. For senior positions, applicants must have a record of outstanding methodological and collaborative research contributions, and must have a history of securing funding for methodological research.
