Position Title: Postdoctoral fellow (multiple positions)

Duties and Responsibilities: Candidates will work on statistical genomics related projects, which can vary in the full spectrum from 100% method development to 100% application work. Areas of research include: (1) whole genome sequencing analysis for genetic dissection of complex human traits; (2) analysis of admixed populations; (3) genotype imputation; (4) analysis of single cell RNA-seq data; and (5) analysis of data from chromatin conformation capture and derived technologies.

Position Qualifications: Applicants should have strong quantitative background with strong statistical and computational skills. Knowledge in biology or genetics is desired but not required. Postdoctoral fellows should know at least one programming language (e.g., C/C++, Java, Perl, Python) and at least one statistical package (e.g., SAS, R, MatLab).

Salary Range: Commensurate with skills and experience

Benefits: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and will be equal to or exceed NIH postdoctoral stipends. Benefits will be in accordance with UNC standard postdoctoral benefits, including medical insurance, continuing education, and retirement plan.
