Company Information: The Department of Mathematics at North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track assistant or associate professorship in Statistics available in August 2018. The Department encourages persons from all areas of statistics to apply but is particularly interested in areas of statistical learning, biostatistics, design of experiment, Bayesian inference, mathematical statistics, spatio-temporal data analysis, probability, or stochastic processes. Position Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Mathematics (Statistics)

Duties and Responsibilities: Primary duties include, but are not limited to, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level, conducting research, advising students, writing grant proposals, publishing in peer reviewed journals, and working collaboratively with colleagues in mathematics and other disciplines. Service to the Department, College of Science & Technology and the University is also expected.

Position Qualifications: Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics at the anticipated date of appointment; and experience and a track record indicating excellent potential to conduct research, obtain extramural funding, and advise students, and experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses is required.

Salary Range: Commensurate with education and experience
