Company Information: The Biostatistics Branch (BB) is an intramural research program within the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). BB statisticians develop statistical research programs and actively collaborate in cutting-edge studies of genetic, lifestyle, and environmental causes of cancer as well as in studies of cancer prevention, and descriptive and clinical epidemiology. Statistical research is typically motivated by challenges encountered in DCEG studies.

Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

Duties and Responsibilities: The position is for the development of new statistical methods for risk prediction, the analysis of high dimensional molecular data, the analysis of high dimensional longitudinal data, cancer genetics and to work on collaborative projects. The candidate will be able to build a methodological and collaborative research program, and is expected to participate in research team efforts.

Position Qualifications: Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics or similar quantitative area with strong computing skills. Eligible to work in the US (US citizenship is not required). Interestin applied problems, and excellent written communication skills.

Salary Range: ~$65,000
