The Mathematics Department at California State University San Bernardino is seeking to hire a new tenure-track faculty member at the assistant professor rank, in the area of Statistics or applied mathematics. The department is transforming its curriculum in conjunction with conversion to semesters in 2020. We are looking for faculty interested in innovative teaching and developing courses for our new curriculum.

Position Title: Assistant Professor Tenure Track, Fall 2018

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics or
mathematics, maintain a robust ongoing research agenda, and mentor students at the
undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate will also be expected to provide leadership
and service that will advance scholarly excellence in mathematics.

Position Qualifications: Ph. D. In Statistics or Applied Mathematics by time of appointment.
