Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellowship

Duties and Responsibilities: The Departments of Statistics and Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University invite applications for postdoctoral fellowships in statistical inference from stochastic processes and population genetic models.

Position Qualifications: These positions are open to candidates who have demonstrated excellence and productivity in research. A Ph.D in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields is required. The ideal candidate will have a very strong technical background in statistics and mathematics with an interest in developing applied methodology with strong theory support and programming skills. The fellows will be encouraged to interact and collaborate with various research groups at Stanford. Funding for the fellowships will be provided by the Terman fellowship awarded to Prof. Julia Palacios.

Salary Range: 65K
