Company Information: The Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine is an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center. As an academic-based center, the DLDCCC offers cutting-edge, research-based treatment options such as using patients’ own genetic makeup to identify their potential for cancer, prevent its onset, more effectively diagnose and treat the disease when it does occur, and one day, provide a cure. The Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center has organized its research activities into seven programs to enhance interactions between investigators and 15 shared resources, including Biostatistics and Informatics.

Position Title: Assistant Professor

Duties and Responsibilities: The Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a qualified candidate to be responsible for carrying out collaborative biostatistical support to investigators in clinical and basic research. Works with investigators to write grants, plan experiments and clinical trials, performs statistical analysis and interpretation of data for projects and research grants. Develops methods as needed, statistical programs for data manipulation and implementation of standard and advanced statistical methodology. Perform other tasks as assigned including protocol reviews, statistical report generation, manuscript preparation, etc. Effectively interacts with and presents results to collaborating investigators.

Position Qualifications: Education: * Required: PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or a closely related field. Experience: * Required: At least 3 years experience as a biostatistician in a medical and health related setting.
