Position Title: Lecturer Full-Time
Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking candidates for a full-time Lecturer (0179) in the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington. This would be a full-time, multi-year appointment. Employment will be held for 12 months of the year – 9 months during the regular academic cycle, plus an additional 3 summer months.
Duties of this appointment include directing the department’s student consulting program operated jointly with Biostatistics, as well as teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Statistics, and service.
Position Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) by the start of the appointment. We encourage applications from exceptional candidates with relevant statistical consulting or experience in applied research.
Salary Range: This is a lecturer position. UW offers competitive salaries commensurate with training and experience.
