Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Analytics

Duties and Responsibilities: Business Analytics (possible multiple positions): Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor positions to teach a full-time load of Business Analytics courses. Hiring is to support a new Information Systems & Analytics major with a Business Analytics track, a rapidly growing minor in Business Analytics and an interdisciplinary co-major in Analytics.

Start date of position is August 21, 2017.

Position Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
PhD (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor), ABD or Master’s degree (for appointment as Instructor) in statistics, management science, industrial engineering, or related field; willingness and ability to teach courses in Analytics to business students.

Miami University will not sponsor for H1B work authorization for the 2017-18 year.

Preferred Qualifications:
Business experience in data analysis or analytics; successful business analytics/business statistics teaching experience; graduate degree from a business school.
