George Casella and André Khuri (Emeritus)  have been named a AAAS Fellows.  The American Association for the Advancement of Science is an international organization dedicated to advancing science around the world.
	John Cornell (Emeritus) recently published a book "A Primer on Experiments with Mixtures" with Wiley.
	Mike Daniels began his 3 year term as Treasurer of the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA).
	Malay Ghosh gave a Plenary Lecture entitled  "Bayesian Penalized Splines for Small Area Estimation" on August 15, 2011 the International Small Area Estimation Conference held in Trier, Germany.
	Malay Ghosh was awarded the Jerzy Neyman Medal at the 100th Anniversary Meeting of the Polish Statistical Society held in Poznan, Poland in 2012. He delivered there a keynote address entitled "FINITE POPULATION SAMPLING: A MODEL DESIGN SYNTHESIS".
	Richard Scheaffer (Emeritus) was recently awarded the USCOTS 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award.   (USCOTS is the annual U.S. Conference on the Teaching of Statistics.)
